The late-night idea

It started as a note on a phone: what if a toy could teach a child to like themselves before the world had opinions about them?

Listening first

We spoke to more than a hundred parents and caregivers about bedtime, big feelings, and the toys that actually get loved.

The first lopsided prototype

Sketches became patterns, patterns became a doll with one arm longer than the other. We kept her. She reminds us that first tries count.
